After traveling to New York from Uganda, I’ve been to Oregon, Washington, California, and now Texas. In a few short days I will travel back to New York to spend some time with family and do speaking for the ministry and my book, For the Joy Set Before Us. This is an exciting time as I travel, see loved ones, eat fun food, and remotely plan a wedding for mid August. God is always teaching me, and I believe the lesson of this season is making time to rest and always remembering no matter how busy I am not to forsake the quiet time with Him.
How can we stay sane when things are crazy? Well I am no expert on this subject, but I find taking a step back in the midst of the craziness, praying more than ever, reading a good book on a flight, and drinking lots of coffee seem to help.
This is a whirlwind visit to the US, but I’m so thankful. I’m enjoying each moment before I get back and prepare to begin my new life. I’m learning to breathe and just enjoy the whirlwind. I’m glad my life is not boring!
